Shunna Jones is a Certified Infection Control Professional (CIC®) and Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of infection prevention and healthcare experience, including over five years of bedside nursing experience in critical care, trauma, and step-down settings.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Advanced Practice Public Health Nursing with a focus on Infectious Diseases from the University of California, San Francisco.
Throughout her career, Shunna has led infection prevention and control programs across acute care, behavioral health, and federal healthcare systems. Her expertise includes healthcare-associated infection surveillance, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, outbreak response, employee health programs, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education.
Her leadership experience includes roles with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Psychiatric Institute of Washington.
